Vietnamese American Arts Festival Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett participated in the opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the County’s Vietnamese American Arts Festival. Over the years, Montgomery County has established itself as a cultural arts destination offering top-notch entertainment with state-of-the-art venues and flourishing arts. The arts and humanities drive the County’s economy and uplift the community spirit. That’s why events like the Vietnamese American Arts Festival are so vital.

This year, Vietnamese American Artists and friends propose our artworks to the community of Silver Spring and the DMV area on the week of Independence Day July 3-7, 2017 at the Civic Building of Silver Spring. Besides of artwork displays, there are activities that would make you stay longer than you have thought. Please note in your schedule our exhibition time as below: + Mon 7/3: 2pm-8pm (Reception 5pm-7pm to meet the artists and enjoy traditional Vietnamese music by Hương Xưa and food. It is our honor to welcome Montgomery County Executive Mr. Ike Leggett take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony with us at sharp 6pm) + Wed 7/5: 11am-5pm + Thu 7/6: 12pm-6pm + Fri 7/7: 10am-1pm Artists participate in this event: – Glen Kessler .
