Lunar New Year Celebration Saturday, February 24, 2018, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Richard Montgomery High School 250 Richard Montgomery Dr., Rockville, MD 20850 About the Event The City of Rockville, in partnership with the city’s Asian Pacific American (APA) Task Force, hosts an annual Lunar New Year celebration, bringing the community together to celebrate Rockville’s Asian cultures. In its 10th year, the Lunar New Year celebration is a source of pride for the city’s Asian community and an educational opportunity for neighbors to learn about Asian culture. The 2018 Lunar New Year celebration will mark the year 4716, the Year of the Dog on the Chinese Zodiac calendar. Join us for a celebration featuring a variety of performances, games and crafts, and cultural displays.
