Theo nguồn tin trên trang mạng của quận Montgomery For Immediate Release: 2/24/2014 Working Parents Assistance Program Offers Help to Pay for Child Care Costs Montgomery County’s Working Parents Assistance Program (WPA), part of the Department of Health and Human Services, has funds available to help County residents pay child care costs. The cost of child care is a major expense for families living in Montgomery County, with childcare costing an average of $17,500 per year for full-time infant care. The WPA provides subsidies to help eligible single and two-parent families pay for licensed child care costs. To qualify, applicants must work or attend school full-time and they must meet income guidelines. Single parents are also required to pursue child support payments through the legal system. Eligible families receive vouchers, which may be used with licensed childcare providers in Montgomery County. Parents are responsible for negotiating payments with the provider.
