For Immediate Release: 7/14/2014 Silver Spring Library to Host Used Book Sale, Family Program July 19 A used book sale and free family program entitled “The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body” will be held at Silver Spring Library, 8901 Colesville Rd., on Saturday, July 19. The book sale, to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will offer thousands of used books in categories such as fiction, history, art, mysteries, romance, literature, cookbooks, biography, children’s and manga. A large collection of bargain Civil War books will also be featured, in addition to CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes and sheet music. Hardbacks will sell for $2; large paperbacks, $1.50; and small paperbacks, 50 cents. Specially priced books will be on sale, as well. Summer Reading t-shirts will be available for $5. A family program especially for elementary school children, “The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body” interactive experience, will begin at 10:30 a.m. The program, sponsored by The National Museum of Health and Medici, will include life-like human organs. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
