For Immediate Release: 3/16/2015 An Irish -American heritage program for all ages, featuring the musical trio, Paddy Goes West, will be held at the Davis Library on Saturday, March 28 at 3 p.m. The library is located at 6400 Democracy Blvd., Bethesda. The free program, sponsored by Friends of the Library/ Davis Chapter, will feature stories of the Irish in Maryland and music from the Irish folk revival, as well as present day pub songs. Featured instruments will be the hammered dulcimer, fiddle, guitar and tin whistle, which reflect the diversity of the Irish musical heritage. The musicians, Tom Guay, Dennis Dunlavey and Tom Dunlavey, have been part of the DC-Baltimore area Irish folk and bar band scene for many years and have played their particular type of acoustic music since 2007 in all parts of the country.
