For Immediate Release: Monday, February 1, 2016 Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will hold his last budget forum on Monday, February 8. Feedback from residents about the Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) Operating Budget priorities is being sought. This forum replaces the previously scheduled forum on Monday, January 25 which was cancelled due to Snow Storm Jonas. “Budget forums give residents the opportunity to let me know what is important to them as I prepare next year’s operating budget for submission to the County Council on March 15,” said County Executive Leggett. “Input from residents is crucial in helping me determine the County’s budget priorities.” The forum will be held at the BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown. The forum begins at 7 and runs until 8:30 p.m. Join Montgomery County’s conversation about the FY17 Operating Budget on social media and help raise awareness by using #MontCoFY17budgetforum.
