Posted on: November 6, 2016 City Hall, Other Facilities to Close Several Days in November Rockville, Maryland, Oct. 27 – Rockville City Hall will be closed on Election Day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving weekend, and other city facilities will be closed or will operate on limited schedules. Tuesday, Nov. 8 (Election Day):

• City Hall and the Rockville Senior Center will be closed.
• Croydon Creek Nature Center will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
• All other city facilities will open as usual.
• Recycling and refuse will be collected as usual.
• For information about voting times and locations, early or absentee voting and more, visit www.montgomerycountymd.gov/elections.

Friday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day): 

• City Hall, the Senior Center and Glenview Mansion will be closed.
• The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office will be open 6-8 p.m. Tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatretix.
• Croydon Creek Nature Center will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
• All other city facilities will be open as usual.

Thursday, Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving Day) and Friday, Nov. 25: 

• City Hall, the Senior Center, Glenview Mansion and the Fitzgerald Theatre box office will be closed.
• Recycling and refuse normally collected on Thursdays will be collected Friday, Nov. 25.

Facilities that are closed Nov. 24 and open Nov. 25, for the following hours: 

• Croydon Creek Nature Center (10 a.m.-2 p.m.).
• Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers (10 a.m.-6 p.m.).
• Rockville Swim and Fitness Center north pool and fitness room (6 a.m.-9 p.m.). South pool closed. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter for more information.
