For Immediate Release: Thursday, July 19, 2018 Montgomery County’s Office of Consumer Protection (OCP) will partner with U. S. Representative Jamie Raskin and Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh at the first “ConsumerFest,” a consumer protection forum, on Tuesday, July 24 at the Silver Spring Civic Building, 1 Veterans Place in Silver Spring. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the Resource Fair. Program starts at 7 p.m. “ConsumerFest” will focus on several issues including identify theft prevention, internet safety, and online financial protection, and a Resource Fair where attendees can find valuable information from county, state and federal agencies.
