County Launches Video Series About Caregiving and Dementia; National Caregiver Month Also Includes Outreach Events Throughout November
For Immediate Release: Tuesday, November 27, 2018 A new video series, Caregiving and Dementia: Understanding Responsive Behaviors, is available online to help those who provide care to individuals living with cognitive impairment. The debut of the two-part series is part of the County’s effort to recognize November as National Caregiver Month. The videos were developed by Jennifer Bush, director of the National Center for Montessori and Aging, in partnership with the County’s Caregiver Support Program, and provide effective guidance for caregivers and integrate Montessori and Aging principles with dementia care best practices.
