Responsibilities include maintaining the facility, programs and services in the following areas: planning and implementing programs and events including summer and after school children’s programs, senior programs, special events, etc; hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling employees; maintaining expenditures within budgetary constraints; providing oversight of the building including coordinating the cleaning and maintenance of the equipment and facility; and establishing and providing support to a viable citizen advisory committee; scheduling rental spaces; purchasing and oversight for supplies and equipment; promoting the center and building rapport within the community including building relationships with local civic associations, nonprofits and significant individuals.
