For Immediate Release: 8/14/2013 Office of Human Rights to Host Community Picnic; Originally Scheduled for September 15, Rescheduled For October 13 Montgomery County’s Office of Human Rights will host a “Friendship Picnic” on Sunday, October 13 from 1 to 5 p.m., at Wheaton Regional Park, 2000 Shorefield Road, to bring together diverse communities to share their cultures, traditions and faiths. Food and beverages will be provided. This event was originally scheduled for September 15. The picnic will be co-hosted by the Montgomery County Committee on Hate/Violence, the Human Rights Commission, the Office of Community Partnerships and the Montgomery County Executive’s Faith Community Working Group.
