For Immediate Release: 8/5/2014 Upper County Outdoor Pool is Closed for Emergency Repairs The Montgomery County Department of Recreation’s Upper County Outdoor Pool at 8211 Emory Grove Road in Gaithersburg has temporarily closed for emergency repairs on a main water line into the pool/facility. The Therapeutic Recreation Summer Swim scheduled for August 7 will be canceled. Interested participants are encouraged to register for Summer Swim scheduled at Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool on August 16. At this time, there is no estimated timeframe for completion of repairs. As more information on the project becomes available, the Recreation Department’s website will be updated; or call 240-777-6860 with questions.
