For Immediate Release: 8/27/2015 Teen Writers’ Club Formed at Silver Spring Library; Local Teens Invited to Join, Learn Teens in the Silver Spring area who like to write – fiction, nonfiction or poetry — now have a chance to develop their writing voices and skills through the Teen Writers’ Club that has been formed at the Silver Spring Library. The workshop is open to teen writers (ages 13-18) and will meet twice a month on alternate Thursdays, beginning September 10 at 6:30 p.m., in the large meeting room 2 on the 3rd floor. The library is located at 900 Wayne Avenue. The club will offer writing exercises and group discussions that will help teens improve their writing and try new approaches. There will be constructive feedback on writing samples and advice on how to overcome obstacles.
