SOURCE: Rockville City Check out ‘The Nutcracker,’ Holiday Bazaar, Homemade Crafts and More Rockville, Md., Dec. 4 – The City of Rockville is brightening spirits this holiday season with a variety of special events and performances. This weekend, the city welcomes visitors to a holiday bazaar and craft show at the Rockville Senior Center, performances of “The Nutcracker” at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and a natural holiday crafts workshop at Croydon Creek Nature Center. Also coming up: Glenview Mansion’s Holiday Open House series, from 1-4 p.m. on Sundays in December. Lloyd Dobler Effect presents its Holiday Experience Concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18 at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre. Thomas Farm Community Center hosts a Gingerbread House Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 12 (registration is open). Other holiday performances at the theater include music from the Rockville Concert Band and the Rockville Chorus. Kids can visit with Santa at Glenview Mansion’s open house on Sunday, Dec. 13, or at Thomas Farm Community Center at the Cookies with Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 19.
