Rockville City Hall and Facilities Closed on July Fourth Recycling and Refuse Collected a Day Later Through Friday of the Holiday Week Rockville, Maryland, June 24 — City Hall and most city facilities will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Recycling, yard waste and refuse collection will be suspended on July 4 and made one day later. For more information on collection, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/recycling-refuse or call 240-314-8568. Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers, the Rockville Senior Center and Croydon Creek Nature Center will be closed. Rockville Civic Center Park offices, including Glenview Mansion and the Glenview Mansion Art Gallery will be closed. The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close at 6 p.m. Summer hours for individual swim center facilities can be found at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter. F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and the box office will be closed. Tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatretix. Parking at city-owned meters will be free.
