For Immediate Release: Monday, September 26, 2016 Brewing beer has become a favorite hobby of many people. The Germantown branch of Montgomery County Public Libraries will host a “Brew Making at Home” program on Thursday, October 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. to introduce the brewing process and demonstrate the equipment and ingredients needed to create a home brewed beer. There will be light refreshments – but no beer – available for attendees. This Adult Makerspace program is presented by Dave Farb, a retired biochemist, who has been brewing his own beer for several years using kits and also creating his own kits from scratch. Register online or call 240-777-0110 for more information. Registration is limited to people who are 21 years of age and older.
