On Saturday, October 29th, Warner Circle Park in Kensington, MD will be transformed into a full-blown Halloween extravaganza. Participate in a fun costume contest and parade, and enjoy family-friendly attractions including festival-style musical performances, food trucks, inflatable rides and slides and a rock wall. Don’t miss the main event: The Pumpkin Roll, a derby race of Halloween pumpkins-turned-boxcars.

The Pumpkin Roll Derby Race The Pumpkin Roll is a derby-style race in which participants compete in heats for the title of the fastest Pumpkin Racer. The races will take place on the sloping driveway the begins right at the foot of the Warner Circle Mansion. SIGN-UP! 12:00PM — Event Opens The Second Annual Pumpkin Rock N’ Roll begins! RSVP here to beat the lines! 12:30PM — Costume Parade (Begins at Race MC Station) Kickoff the day with the Pumpkin Rock N’ Roll Halloween Parade through Warner Circle Park. The costume parade is free and open to anyone who wants to join. 1:00PM — Pumpkin Derby Race Begins Customize your pumpkin and compete in the Pumpkin Roll Derby Race! Must register ahead of time to compete.
