Boogie Down to Big Easy Sounds, Rock and More Memorial Day Weekend Hometown Holidays to Feature Four Stages, Local Food Favorites and Kids’ Fun More than 25 local, regional and national performing artists will take the stage as the streets of Rockville Town Center come alive with music, amusements and the best local food during the Hometown Holidays Music Fest, Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28. Festival Happenings Hometown Holidays offers activities for kids including live entertainment on the Town Square Stage, the beach, as well as inflatables and amusements (for a fee). The event also offers the opportunity to meet with several community groups who are doing great things for our community. These groups are located along East Montgomery Avenue. Parking and Transportation Directions • HTH is located in Rockville Town Center in the heart of Rockville, Maryland. • From I-270, take either exit 5 or exit 6 and head east into Rockville. Follow signs for parking. • From Route 355/Rockville Pike, going north into Rockville, turn left onto Route 28 and follow signs for parking. • From up county using Route 355/Rockville Pike, drive south into Rockville and and use the parking garage located off of Route 355/Rockville Pike or turn right onto Route 28 and follow signs for parking. Parking Free parking is available throughout town center. Locations include the Council Office Building on Fleet Street, Metro lots, and the City Hall lot. Paid parking is available in the Town Square Route 355 and North Washington Street garages. Dawson’s Market parking spaces are reserved for customers only and will be strictly enforced. Public Transit Take the Metro’s Red Line to the Rockville station. Exit on the Rockville Pike side, and follow the sounds of music across the street to Middle Lane. MARC train service will not be running over Memorial Day Weekend. Biking Rockville is a bike-friendly community. We also have several Capital Bikeshare stations. Bikes are not permitted to be ridden in the event area. Learn more about Rockville’s bike paths.
