News About Plastic Bags in Recycling and Refuse Collections NO MORE PLASTIC BAGS The City will no longer accept plastic bags or film of any type in recycling collections. While these plastics are perfectly recyclable, they get caught in the sorting machinery creating maintenance shut downs. Instead, customers should look for grocery and retail stores that have plastic bag collection bins near their entrances. Find more information, including a drop-off locator identifying stores that accept the bags for recycling here. http://www.rockvillemd.gov/index.aspx?NID=300]]>
