Emergency guardrail repairs expected to be complete by early Friday
(January 15, 2020) – Tomorrow night, January 16, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will close three lanes on the inner loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) between MD 190 (River Road) and I-270. Crews will close one lane at 9 pm, two lanes at 10 pm and three lanes at 11 pm to allow for guardrail repairs. All lanes are expected to reopen by 5 am Friday.
