Thank you for expressing your interest in obtaining tickets to the Presidential Inauguration, the time-honored occasion upon which we celebrate the peaceful transfer of power from one President to the next and launch the new presidency.

The sixtieth Presidential Inauguration will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025. The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) is responsible for planning and executing the Inaugural ceremonies. The JCCIC provides each member of Congress a very limited allotment of tickets to the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Swearing-In Ceremonies.

If you’re interested in applying for tickets through our office to the Swearing-In Ceremonies, please read the information below and remember:

The number of tickets is strictly limited and no one, alas, is guaranteed a ticket.

All requests must be submitted by December 31st, 2024.

Inauguration tickets requested through our office are reserved for my constituents in Maryland’s 8th Congressional District.

Tickets must be picked up in Washington, D.C. prior to Inauguration Day. Tickets will not be mailed.

To apply for tickets to the Swearing-In Ceremonies through our office, please fill out the form here.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that you will receive tickets to the ceremonies. Indeed, based on prior inaugurations, we can predict that only a small percentage of my constituents will end up receiving tickets, alas.

We will reach out to you directly in 2025 if tickets are available for your group.

* The good news is that there are several other Inaugural events taking place on January 20th, about which the Presidential Inaugural Committee can provide more information, including how to stand and watch the parade along the route or attend the inaugural ball or other local events. As the Inauguration approaches, you can find helpful updates about the various Inaugural festivities here.
