Quận Montgomery tổ chức lễ hội bắn pháo hoa thường niên vào thứ sáu, ngày 4 tháng 7 và thứ bảy, ngày 5 tháng 7

Quận Montgomery sẽ kỷ niệm Ngày Độc lập với hai sự kiện có nhiều pháo hoa, nhạc sống và các hoạt động dành cho gia đình khác.

Germantown Glory sẽ được tổ chức vào thứ sáu, ngày 4 tháng 7 tại Công viên giải trí South Germantown (18041 Central Park Circle, Boyds). Sự kiện bắt đầu lúc 7 giờ tối với Central City Orchestra sẽ biểu diễn. Có chỗ đậu xe tại chỗ.

Mid-County Sparkles sẽ diễn ra vào tối hôm sau, thứ Bảy, ngày 5 tháng 7 tại Trường trung học Albert Einstein (11135 Newport Mill Road, Kensington). Lễ kỷ niệm bắt đầu lúc 7 giờ tối với nhạc sống từ Downtown Sound. Chỉ có chỗ đậu xe tại chỗ dành cho người khuyết tật.

Sẽ có bãi đậu xe sự kiện miễn phí và dịch vụ đưa đón cho tất cả những người tham dự khác tại Westfield Wheaton (11160 Veirs Mill Road, Wheaton) bắt đầu từ 6:30 chiều. Cả hai sự kiện đều miễn phí cho công chúng và sẽ có những người bán đồ ăn. Những người tham dự sự kiện được phép mang theo ghế xếp, chăn và thùng giữ nhiệt. Không được phép mang theo đồ uống có cồn và vật nuôi.

Màn bắn pháo hoa ở cả hai sự kiện dự kiến ​​bắt đầu vào khoảng 9:15 tối. Tùy thuộc vào điều kiện thời tiết, thời gian bắn pháo hoa có thể thay đổi.

Montgomery County Hosting Annual Fireworks Celebrations on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5

Montgomery County is set to celebrate Independence Day with two events full of fireworks, live music and other family-friendly activities.

Germantown Glory will be held Friday, July 4 at South Germantown Recreational Park (18041 Central Park Circle, Boyds). The event starts at 7 p.m. with Central City Orchestra set to perform. Parking is available on-site.

Mid-County Sparkles will take place the following evening, Saturday, July 5 at Albert Einstein High School (11135 Newport Mill Road, Kensington). The celebration begins at 7 p.m. with live music from Downtown Sound. Parking will only be available on-site for individuals with disabilities.

There will be free event parking and shuttle service for all other attendees at Westfield Wheaton (11160 Veirs Mill Road, Wheaton) starting at 6:30 p.m. Vehicles parked at the shopping mall prior to that time may be subject to towing by the property owner. Follow the directional signs for locations of event parking and shuttles.

“These fireworks celebrations are a great way for us to come together as a community, enjoy time with family and friends and reflect on what Independence Day really means,” said Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich. “We offer these events free of charge so that everyone in Montgomery County can participate. I want to thank our Recreation team, our sponsors and our public safety personnel who help make these events safe and welcoming for all. I hope folks come out to enjoy the music, the fireworks and each other.”

Both events are free to the public and food vendors will be available. Event goers are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers. Alcoholic beverages and pets are not permitted.

The fireworks displays at both events are scheduled to begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. Depending on weather conditions, the timing of the fireworks is subject to change.

Sign language interpreter services and other auxiliary aids or services will be provided upon request with as much notice as possible, preferably at least three business days before the event. To request special accommodations, contact 240-777-6840 or email rec.inclusion@montgomerycountymd.gov.
