Program Coordinator

Job Opportunity: The Nonprofit Roundtable seeks a part-time Program Coordinator for one year to be a critical member of a team that carries out the Roundtable’s mission to build the strength, influence, and visibility of the nonprofit sector in Greater Washington. Our 300 Members represent Greater Washington’s nonprofit community- service providers, advocates, grantmakers, and infrastructure groups – all committed to a single vision: a more just and caring community. The Program Coordinator will be based in our office in Montgomery County and support our work in Montgomery County and Northern Virginia. Position Summary: The Program Coordinator supports our strategic objectives by providing program, event and meeting support for our affiliates serving Montgomery County and Northern Virginia. Duties Include: Event logistics such as ordering food, producing name tags, making sure that the environment is conducive to the event, RSVP and registration support, making sure events are on shared calendars Meeting coordination and logistics such as scheduling, copying packets of materials, making sure meetings are on shared calendars Evaluation support, such as tabulating feedback forms Coordinating with the Roundtable’s Data and Information Coordinator to generate reports and to make sure that the information in Salesforce and the Google Drive supports programs. The Program Coordinator reports to the Roundtable’s Director of Programs and Operations and is an integral part of our Montgomery County-based team, which includes the Director of Nonprofit Montgomery, the Director of FIRM and the Project Director for Montgomery Moving Forward. The Program Coordinator works 16 hours/week over two or three days primarily from our Rockville office, 12320 Parklawn Dr. Rockville, MD (Red Line – Twinbrook). Over year, the Program Coordinator will be expected to attend 4 – 6 meetings in downtown DC (Red Line-Dupont Circle or Farragut North) and 4 – 6 meetings in Northern Virginia.
