Health Screenings Health screenings available at the 2014 Love Your Heart event include: Cholesterol & Glucose Finger Stick Test Blood Pressure Body Composition Body Mass Index Waist-to-Hip Ratio Sleep Apnea Screening Personal Counseling Sessions Free Heart-Healthy Cooking & Exercise Demonstrations Chefs will perform cooking demonstrations featuring a heart healthy breakfast, appetizer and dessert. Audience members will also learn the benefits of stretching and perform seated stretching exercises with members of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital’s cardiac rehabilitation team. Free Heart Education Talks Medical experts from Washington Adventist Hospital and Shady Grove Adventist Hospital will discuss heart health topics including how to talk to your doctor about your heart as well as symptoms of a heart attack and when to call 9-1-1.
