This fun-filled annual event celebrates the opening of the Dentzel Carousel for its 94th season in Glen Echo Park and offers a full day of activities for families. The carousel operates from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., $1.25 per ride. FREE Performances Include: ✹ Urban Artistry ✹ Culkin School of Traditional Irish Dance ✹ Magic Shows with Abracadabra Alex and Barry Wood ✹ Family Dancing with caller Ann Fallon and musicians Liz Donaldson and Catherine Chapman ✹ Mr. Gabe and the Circle Time All-Stars ✹ Ballet Petite performing Giselle ✹ Dance Party with MC Angel (preview our Father’s Day Dance entertainment!) Other fun and FREE activities include: ✹ Face painting ✹ Arts and crafts activities for kids ✹ T-Ball Extreme ✹ Resident Artist open studios and demonstrations ✹ Art galleries ✹ National Park Service tours FREE parking, too!
