For Immediate Release: 1/7/2015 Residents throughout Montgomery County Reminded of Slide in Trash/Recycling Schedules Residents with County-provided trash and recycling collection service are reminded that due to the inclement weather in the area on Tuesday, their items will be picked up one day later through the rest of the week. For example, the routes not collected on Tuesday will be serviced on Wednesday; customers with Wednesday service will be picked up on Thursday, etc. through the rest of the week, with Saturday being the final day for collections this week. Regular collection schedules will resume next week, beginning Monday, January 12. For more information on the slide schedule, service in areas affected by the strike against Unity Disposal workers and/or other collection information in general, visit www.montgomerycountymd.gov/sws.
