VNMAP will partner with Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, AAHI office, to conduct an outreach event about the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This year, the process to register for ACA has many differences compared to the last year. VNMAP volunteers will reach out to businesses in Montgomery County to provide information about the ACA changes so that they can take actions before the deadline coming up. The event will be on Januray 22nd, 2015 from 9:00am-5:00pm. If you would like to volunteer with us on that day, feel free to email vnmapteam@vnmap.org with Subject: ACA training. Our volunteers will be trained on information about ACA and outreaching technique before going to meet with the community. Volunteers will also be compensated for the time and mileage in participating in this program.
