Posted: August 13, 2015 “Restore the Joy” Domestic Violence Empowerment Luncheon The 9th Annual “Restore the Joy” Domestic Violence Empowerment Luncheon, hosted by Women Who Care Ministries, the Victims’ Rights Foundation, The Peoples Community Baptist Church, and the City of Gaithersburg, will be held on Saturday, October 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza, 3 Research Ct., Rockville MD. “Restore the Joy” includes a resource fair and vendors, a dialog with a panel of experts and inspirational performances. Early bird admission until August 25, 2015 is $35 per ticket. After August 25, admission will be $45 per ticket. Tickets for children under 12 and senior citizens are available for $25 per person. Tables of ten can be purchased for $350 until August 25; $450 afterwards. Early registration is recommended as seating is limited and the event is expected to sell out. The luncheon, which offers messages of inspiration and hope along with vital resource information, will feature “Be Smart with Your Heart,” a keynote address by Jewel Diamond Taylor, a very powerful and sought-after celebrity motivational speaker with extensive experience in motivating and empowering both men and women. Jewel is committed to helping others succeed. She offers candid, practical, viable solutions, all while leaving a lasting impression of hope for the future. She will give a special address to the teens and young adults who will be present.
