For Immediate Release: 8/18/2015 Office of Human Rights to Host Community Picnic on September 20 Montgomery County’s Committee on Hate/Violence and the Office of Human Rights will host the Third Annual “Friendship Picnic” on Sunday, September 20 from 1 to 5 p.m., at Wheaton Regional Park, 2000 Shorefield Road. The event brings together diverse communities to share their cultures, traditions and faiths. Food, beverages and entertainment for the entire family will be provided. The picnic will be co-hosted by the Human Rights Commission, the Office of Community Partnerships, the Montgomery County Executive’s Faith Community Working Group, the Fund for Montgomery and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
