For Immediate Release: 10/13/2015 Montgomery County’s Office of Human Rights (OHR) and the Human Rights Commission will co-host an employment seminar on Tuesday, October 27 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building, One Veterans Plaza. The County Employment Law Updates & Information Breakfast will provide participants with information about new and emerging employment laws recently enacted in Montgomery County. “This employment seminar will provide participants with valuable information about a number of new County employment laws enacted in the last year to 18 months,” said OHR Director James Stowe. “I encourage everyone who has questions about employment laws to plan on attending this very informative seminar.” Sign language interpreter services will be provided only upon request with notice as far in advance as possible, but no less than 72 hours prior to the event.
