Tuesday, November 3, 2015 The next City Election will be Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Gaithersburg voters will cast their ballots for Mayor, to fill the balance of term of former Mayor Sidney A. Katz, and three at-large members of the City Council. On September 22, 2015 the Board of Supervisors of Elections certified the candidacies of Jud Ashman, Darline D.H. Bell-Zuccarelli and Henry F. Marraffa Jr. for the position of Mayor and Neil H. Harris, Laurie-Anne Sayles, Ryan Spiegel, and Robert T. Wu for the three City Council positions up for election in the City of Gaithersburg on November 3, 2015. The Mayor elected in 2015 will serve a two-year term; the Council Members will each serve the community at-large for a four-year term. City residents who are registered to vote in Montgomery County are automatically registered to vote in City of Gaithersburg elections. The deadline to register for the upcoming City election is to be announced.
