Rockville City Hall and Facilities to Close for Thanksgiving Holiday
Recycling and Refuse Collection to be Made Day after Thanksgiving Rockville, Md., Nov. 17 – Rockville City Hall, the Rockville Senior Center and Glenview Mansion will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving. All city facilities will be closed on Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving. The following facilities will open for the hours indicated on Nov. 27: Croydon Creek Nature Center (10 a.m.-2 p.m.). Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers (10 a.m.-6 p.m.). F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office (2-7 p.m.). Tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre. Rockville Swim and Fitness Center north pool (6 a.m.-9 p.m.). Note: The south pool remains closed for renovations. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter for lap and program schedules. Recycling and refuse will not be collected Thanksgiving Day. Collections usually scheduled for Thursday will occur on Friday, Nov. 27.
