or Immediate Release: Monday, April 23, 2018 Montgomery County Recreation invites residents to attend the Long Branch Community Unity Festival on Saturday, May 5. The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Long Branch Community Recreation Center, located at 8700 Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring. The free, family-oriented event will include entertainment, arts and crafts, children’s activities, including a moon bounce and face painting, and food vendors from many cultures. The event will also include an indoor soccer tournament at 11 a.m. for middle school students. The Unity Festival is coordinated by the Long Branch Community Recreation Center Advisory Committee and celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the Long Branch community. Free parking is available.
