COVID VACCINATION FOR 6 MONTHS TO 5 YEAR OLD CHILDREN.
Montgomery County Public Schools is partnering with Montgomery County Department of Health to vaccinate children ages 6 months to 5 years old by appointment only. We urge parents to check with their pediatrician for vaccine availability as the majority of vaccine received in Montgomery County is delivered to the private sector (physicians and pharmacies). Initial demand will outpace supply but vaccine delivery will continue in the coming weeks, both to private providers and for County-operated clinics. The appointment platform is the State’s PrepMod system. County-operated clinics will offer one type of vaccine at each clinic. When making an appointment, confirm that the type of vaccine you want is offered at the clinic you are making an appointment for. If you get an error message when making an appointment, it is possible that appointments are full.
