For Immediate Release: Monday, March 28, 2016 To increase awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the public is invited to learn about the signs of child abuse and what to do if abuse is suspected at a free event on Tuesday, April 5 at 7 p.m. at the Tree House Child Advocacy Center. Speakers include Dr. Stephanie Wolf, a child psychologist at the Tree House; Laura Erstling, LCSW-C, investigative social worker with Montgomery County Child Welfare Services; and Sergeant Claude “Ted” Onley, special victims investigative division of the Montgomery County Police Department. A question and answer session and group discussion will follow. Light refreshments will be served. The Tree House Child Advocacy Center is located at 7300 Calhoun Place, Suite 700 in Rockville.
