What: Monster Bash 2015 When: Saturday, October 31, 1pm – 6pm Where: 301 Ethan Allen Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912, USA (map) Description: Monster Bash 2015 will kick off with games and music in the public parking lot next to the Co-Op, (301 Ethan Allen Avenue) followed by the Costume Parade and Contest down Carroll Avenue. We will end the festivities with the Costume Award Ceremony and celebration in Old Town Takoma Park. Due to limited parking, walking is encouraged. Bash Kickoff Kick off Monster Bash by visiting with neighbors, family and friends. Get an early start on all of the ghouly fun for the day. Experiment with the Mad Scientist lab, enjoy the games or have a small pumpkin or skeleton painted on your face. 1:00 p.m. In the public parking lot beside the TPSS Co-op Annual Costume Contest & Parade Get all decked out and strut your stuff. Categories include Most Original, Funniest, and Scariest. Categories: Ages 4 and Under; 5 – 8; 9 – 12; Teen and Adult; and Overall Group. Follow the Takoma Park Fire Truck as it escorts you down the parade route. Costumes will be judged as we walk the parade route. *The parade route will leave from Carroll Avenue in front of the TPSS Co-op walking down Carroll Ave to Old Town Takoma Park. Join in the Fun! Limited parking due to street closures. Approximately 2:15 p.m. On Carroll Avenue in front of the TPSS Co-op Costume Award Ceremony & Celebration Join us for refreshments, sponsored by the Takoma Park Lions Club, following the parade and a special musical performance before the awards are announced.
